The first day of installation is the removal of all existing products until you are left with a bare shell. The next stage is generally putting in all the new runs of pipe work (waste pipes and water feeds) needed for the new project. This period of the job lasts roughly 1-2 weeks of a standard 3 week refit, it also includes re plastering ceilings and walls if necessary and any first fix electrics that need to be fitted.

For these types of works to be carried out parts of the floor will be lifted, walls will be chased out and in some cases ceilings will be taken down.

Now your room is in its final stages, although it may not look like it. The preparation is finished and now comes the face of your new bathroom or kithen (the pretty part). The tiling will commence 1.5-2 weeks in and this is when you start to see the room take shape. Tiling will take roughly 1 week depending upon the size and complexity. The end of your job is now only a few days away, final fixes consist of everything that needs to be put on top of the tiling.
